I have been flying for seven years now, and our family-owned business was now in need of its
own aircraft. I began searching many of the usual avenues and found several airplanes that
would meet our needs, however there was only one dealer that made me feel that I
was their only customer and that was Saunders Aircraft Sales.
Gary went above and beyond what I expected.
Not only did Gary pamper me through the process, he also educated me in every aspect of
purchasing an airplane. O am from Peoria, Illinois and my confidence level in Gary needed to be
extremely high in order to make a commitment since he is located in Connecticut.
Long story short, Gary did not disappoint me.
The neat thing to the entire process is that Gary and I became friends, He is sincere
in all he does and my satisfaction was his number one priority. So, if you're in the
market to purchase an airplane, you need not waste your time looking for the right airplane,
rather, look for the right dealer...and that is Saunders Aircraft Sales.
Gary will find what you are looking for. Thanks Gary!

I have been a pilot and an aircraft owner for ten years. Up until now, I have been fortunate enough
to own two wonderful airplanes: A Cessna 182S and then a Piper Saratoga IITC. My experiences moving
into the first and then into the second plane were smooth and successful.
Only now, however, do I fully
understand what an asset Gary Saunders is. Over a year ago I decided that it was time for a move
from the Saratoga to a Malibu. Over the course of that year, Gary has, through his deep, unparalleled
knowledge not only of these airplanes and their systems but of the industry as a whole, given me an education.
He understood that I needed to slowly learn and digest everything. He fed me information and showed me
a variety of aircraft with no “pressure” to move until I was ready. With complete and total honesty,
he revealed the positives and negatives of each model (including my own) that ultimately allowed me the
freedom to choose the next aircraft to be used for our family transport. Gary was spot on with aircraft
valuation and market issues that can cost months of spinning your wheels as most of us think our beloved
planes are worth more than they are.
Finally, out of the blue Gary called and said that he had found the
perfect Malibu for me. We went to see it, even though I knew I didn’t need to. We closed in less than a month.
Throughout the pre-purchase minutia, Gary was a perfectionist protecting the seller and the buyer.
He knew every step that needed to be taken and made transactions, paperwork, and pre-buy inspections
effortless. Take one look at his resume and you will realize that it would be hard to find a more
qualified individual for aircraft sales/ consulting.
Now that I own the Malibu I just hope that Gary will
have some time to train me as my CFII. I’ve spent about 5 hours in aircraft with Gary. It took me 30
seconds to realize that his aeronautical knowledge and experience are as impressive as his above-mentioned
skills on the ground. Thank you Gary, for being the consummate professional.

"Over my 26 years of airplane ownership, from piston to turboprop,
I have to say that my working with Gary Saunders was truly one of the
most enjoyable and easy purchase experiences I have known. Gary anticipated
all of my concerns about the transaction before I even voiced them and made me
comfortable from agreement to delivery of my Malibu. He is a true gentleman to
work with."

“Two years ago when I decided that I wanted to upgrade to a Saratoga II TC,
I went to the best source on the market: Gary Saunders, Mr. Six. I have since
upgraded again to a factory new Saratoga II TC and once again Gary was the only
person I spoke to about upgrading. Gary is thoroughly knowledgeable of the
equipment not just as a salesperson, but as a passionate lover of flying machines.
Pre-sale, post-sale and at all times in between, Gary ’s experience made both transactions
a pleasure. Instead of my sweating out details, Gary guided the transactions through the
process so I was enjoying my new aircraft quickly. If I decide to upgrade again,
I know that I will only need to make one phone call – to Gary .”

“Over the past four years, our company has acquired three aircraft and has placed an order for its fourth. Gary Saunders
has skillfully facilitated these transactions. As a trusted advisor, pilot and friend, Gary has mentored us through the complexities of aviation. Not only is he a gifted salesman, he provides the customer service,
knowledge, and sense of humor that encourages the buyer to return for another adventure in aviation.”

“Gary Saunders helped me figure out the best fit for my first airplane purchase and
simplified what could have been a confusing series of options in
terms of aircraft models, avionics, and panel configurations.
I trusted his guidance as a new airplane buyer and it has paid off...since then,
I have bought and sold several airplanes with Gary and consider him to
be the only choice for me. He negotiated fair and easy deals, all done
in a single visit, and the proof has been in the retention of value
from the buy to the sell....from a student pilot buying
my first airplane to a more seasoned CFI and a jet owner,
my respect has grown for the forthright advice and guidance Gary has
given me from the very beginning.....he has been right "on target" with everything!!!!”

“I have had the pleasure, and I mean pleasure, of conducting business with Gary ( Mr Six) Saunders for five years. During that time Gary has both educated me and mentored me as I agonized over what type of aircraft I should buy.
As we all know, buying an aircraft is nothing like buying a house or a car. The buyer of an aircraft needs first to understand what his needs and capabilities are. The buyer of an automobile or house needs only to know how much he can afford. I bought my first aircraft, a 1998 Piper Archer, from Gary. Not only did Gary go to great lengths to understand what my needs and experience were, he made sure that I had as many demo flights, both on my own, and with my wife, to ensure I was making the correct decision. The Archer was perfect for my needs and experience.
When I decided to take the next step, to a Saratoga, Gary again educated
me on what to look for and helped give me the confidence I needed to move
up to a complex, high performance aircraft. Unfortunately Gary did not have
inventory to suit my needs and I did not buy the aircraft from him. This
made no change in our relationship. Every time I land at Groton to get
service on my Saratoga I drop in on Gary. He always welcomes me, and has
continued to educate me as to my options for my next upgrade.
I am delighted that Gary has decide to once again go out on his own. I now,
selfishly, have one of the most knowledgeable individuals in aviation
available to me to help me in deciding what my next upgrade will be. I hope
it will not be long before Gary will post a photo of me, Gary and my new bird on his web site.
I can't recommend Gary strongly enough to any aircraft buyer or seller.
Please feel free to email me at nimboy44@aol.com of you would like any more information.”

“I worked with Gary Saunders on a multi-million dollar deal for a fleet of school aircraft. Service with a smile is an understatement, Gary is a true professional in this business. From the onset of our negotiation Gary was extremely attentive and made the transaction seamless. Gary and I made this deal over three years ago and he still calls to see how things are going.”

“I have purchased three aircraft from Gary. What I have learned is the sale does
not stop with the aircraft delivery. When I have maintenance issues, warranty
issues, questions about operations, insurance, financing or flying technique I
ask Gary. If he doesn't know the answer he most certainly knows where to find
the answer. What else could a customer ask for?”

“I have had the great pleasure of purchasing two aircraft from Gary
over the past 8 years, both an Archer and a Saratoga. I have been consistently
amazed about how much Gary cares about matching you with the right aircraft for
your level of flying experience and need. His years of experience, knowledge of
all types of aircraft and their systems, concern for his customers, coupled with
his unquestionable integrity and credibility make him truly unique in aircraft
sales. I cannot imagine trusting someone more than Gary. Purchasing an aircraft
from him has been a wonderfully positive stress free experience.”

“In my mind there is no one smarter about the use of airplanes for business and pleasure, nor is there anyone better at “the art of the deal” than “Mr. Six”. He knows how to bring buyer and seller together so that each feels good about the transaction. “Mr. Six” has the perspective that only comes from having been involved with aircraft sales for decades which has helped him form a keen understanding of why we buy these machines in the first place. Somewhere between practical and emotional is the place where we say “yes” to a deal. “Mr. Six always seems to find that place”.

Owner of : Piper Archer III, Piper Dakota, Piper Seneca IV
We spent 3+ months pouring over Trade-a-Plane,
and numerous other websites looking for a moderately priced,
well equipped Piper Archer. Our frustration grew with every search as
we kept seeing the same overly priced, under equipped airplanes.
That’s when we called Gary to see if he could provide any guidance.
Gary immediately mentioned an airplane he knew of that fit
our profile. Based on Gary’s description of the Archer we
elected to have a pre-buy done without truly seeing the airplane.
The inspection came back as Gary said it would, a very well
maintained airplane, having nothing more than normal wear
and tear for a 25 year old airplane.
After agreeing to purchase the airplane Gary made sure
the process kept moving along, and the transaction
was complete in less than 3 weeks, and that
included some time off for the Christmas and New Years holidays!
Gary proved to us that his experience and knowledge
as an aircraft broker is not his only asset. After
30+ years in the aviation industry it is fair to say Gary
has established a network of reliable professionals who he could
recommend for ferry flights, inspections, or instruction, and he did just that.
Mark, the pilot who ferried the airplane home for us, took
excellent care of our new airplane (as Gary said he would). As it happens, Mark is also a very competent CFI and gave me a thorough checkout in the Archer.
If you are in the market for an airplane give Gary a call.
I guarantee you will not find a better experience.
